Adams & Martin Group is excited to partner with a highly respected plaintiff-side law firm in Downtown San Diego on an urgent Litigation Paralegal opening within the firm's growing Mass Torts department. This role offers the opportunity to serve as the primary paralegal supporting an attorney handling a substantial caseload, alongside a collaborative team of case managers and legal assistants. This position is ideal for a Litigation Paralegal who thrives in a busy, deadline-driven environment and is comfortable managing mass-volume cases with precision. The firm offers a flexible schedule, one remote day per week, paid parking or transit reimbursement, and a supportive team structure including senior paralegals and a dedicated paralegal manager.

Litigation Paralegal Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform state and federal e-filing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all local, state, and federal court rules.
  • Support one attorney with comprehensive litigation and mass tort case management, including discovery coordination and tracking.
  • Maintain organized case files, assist with document preparation, and handle deadline and calendar management.
  • Collaborate closely with legal assistants, case managers, and remote attorneys to keep case progression timely and efficient.
  • Assist with trial-related tasks as needed (though mass tort matters may not always proceed to trial).
  • Regularly update attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and critical dates.
  • Work proactively to maintain workflow, anticipate attorney needs, and ensure smooth case administration.
